This is why I enjoy interpreting pedagogy lectures and workshops. Today I learned that even greeting kids at the door with a smile results in a 22% increase in on-task performance. Also the most efficient seating system for learning is 2 desks, side to side, and the worst is a group of four where 2 pairs of kids face each other.
