Somebody just doesn't get white-male privilege? Or is there a stronger point: one should not be harsh to anyone, not even whites, men, nor even Christians or libertarians?

It's probably because it's US-centric where Jews have disproportionately high incomes and education levels. Given that economic and cultural capital pool with social capital then it could be argued that being a Jew in America gives you access to more privileges than it takes away.

Not agreeing or disagreeing, just I think that would be the reason.
