Beck said that while he didn't believe in same-sex marriage, he did believe in civil unions for gay couples. "The equation is: one guy, one woman equals marriage. That’s the equation. One plus one — one guy, plus one woman — equals marriage. Now, let’s change the second variable. Two guys plus one woman equals marriage. One guy plus three women equal marriage.”
So he has not been in favour of gay marriage ever and has only been in favour of equal status for about three months.
