Let's not do this. As a pharmacy employee it drives me nuts that people feel the need to complain to me about things that I can't control and don't agree with. It's not the pharmacy making these rules.
I don't know if this cartoon is expressly saying that the prohibition is at the pharmacist's hands, but is there not some controversy about particular pharmacists claiming religious conscience and denying service?
No pharmacy is selling Viagra because they don't have a personal objection to it. To pretend like Viagra and the Morning After Pill are facing the same issues in pharmacy is ridiculous, and again, paints the false picture that the pharmacy industry is making the the decisions about this.
I was talking about the morning after pill. Of course, the pill itself gets the same problems. The whole Insurance covers Viagra and its ilk but not the basic pill gets to me. EVERY single job my husband had, that was true with.
