I'm with you, I'm a music snob and I think Amy Winehouse is a) excellent and b) important. She's the biggest lounge act in 50 years, and relaunched the genre IMO. I think a lot of people only view her as "that trashy girl who did the rehab song". FTR I think "Rehab" is one of her worst.
