That's sort of the whole point. I honestly think this country needs a good dose of "Here's what happens when you don't make your leaders play nicely together."

I agree that the experience would be very illuminating. My point was that that illumination will come at the expense of many peoples lives. I, for one, am not willing to sacrifice that just to see the Republicans revealed for the assholes they are (there are easier, and less costly, ways of doing that).

I agree, but this is the dominant narrative we have in the media, as the Democrats and Obama seem to be taking as much blame as the Republicans for this mess. Personally, I kept the cartoon because I liked the phrase. :p
