Good enough. Sometimes the humor can be more important than the message, and there's nothing wrong with that.

In fact, Steve Kelley of the New Orleans Times-Picayune and Vic Harville of Little Rock, Arkansas (I forget the newspaper) seem to be the best at keeping topical cartoons humorous without editorializing too much. They've become two of my favorites for that reason.
