considering a lot of what you say is BECAUSE of libertarian ideals spreading like so much overflowing sewage, I'm surprised you have the balls to make such a list. Gee, why is the economy in trouble? Oh that's right, it has nothing to do with deregulating the bankmasters and everything to do with entitlements. Riiiight. Wall street collapsed because we give too much money to food stamps and public education.
Gee, why is social warfare on everyone's minds? Oh that's right, it has nothing to do with the right-wingers deciding through Newt Gingrich to "go for the throat" and the pundits constant yammering of "THEY are stealing from you!" surely the right-wing using wedge issues has not caused any kind of divide in our country. Surely lopsided taxation has caused no animosity towards the "haves". People are scared and angry and fighting over ideologies because we have things like National Public Radio pitting them against one another.
Gee, why is America so unpopular? Oh that's right, it has nothing to do with certain religio-reactionary presidents basically saying "FUCK YOU" to the rest of the world so he could start some wars and make his croney pals rich as hell with no-bid contracts. Surely the constant exploitation of third world countries hunger in order to move jobs overseas has caused no one to think we're churning in our own greedy cesspool of corporatocracy. Clearly the reason the rest of the world doesn't like us is because we're just busy taking away liberties like the right to get sick and die without health care coverage.

Yeah, because it isn't like America is seen as a capitalist hellhole. There are very few countries that hate the US for its civil rights & other "left" laws. Things like war, police brutality, & the prison-industrial complex are far higher on the list of "why countries we should care about liking us actually hate us."

The places that hate the most liberal laws in the US are places that would hate the US even if it was a near carbon copy of their country.
