They really are going to leave poor ol' GWB to carry the can for all of this, aren't they? My contention has been throughout all of this, that he's probably quite a nice bloke. If you met him in a bar and had a few drinks with him you'd probably find him funny and very good company. Which is not the same as being able to run a country, but then again, Ronald Reagan had folk to run the country for him while he took his afternoon nap. GWB's helpers are all deserting him, and given the input they've had into policy etc that gives an entirely different meaning to 'cut and run'.
He's being left holding the baby, and I'm not certain he's ever been instructed how to change a nappy.
I know folk will disagree with me, but this doesn't seem fair.
