I feel like we've done this one already too, but definitely something simpler.
All these 'liberal media bias' memes are laughable... as only actual, real-life liberal will tell you. With very few exceptions, do you see people in the media advocating for a single-payer health-care system? The temporary nationalization of big, too-big-to-fail banks? Massive crackdowns on CEO pay and other Wall Street regulations? Serious regulatory action on climate change? Prosecutions of Bush administration officials for involvement in torture or the misleading case for war in Iraq? A pullout from Afghanistan? I don't.
Does the media cut Obama a lot of slack? Sure. But, up until the last couple of years, they cut Bush a lot of slack too. Don't believe me? Watch this documentary (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EP3gYH9TYxU). The media worships power... corporate power, political power (regardless of which party is in power). That is their bias.
So, yes the media has its internal biases to overcome. But it's not a liberal one.
