I don't 'love' him because he's black. I don't love people for race.

I like him because I firmly believe he is better for this country than McCain. I believe he will do good for the minorities in this country, and for women. Some of his policies may not be the best, but he means well, more than BUSH ever did.

Obama got elected on due to a cult of personality. Much like Reagan got elected due to a cult of personality. When that happens, and it's not "your guy", you get defensive and antagonistic very quickly.
