Though one could make an argument that this horrible racist cop is helping Gates to walk down the stairs while Obama - big friend of Gates is strolling in front like a peacock.
If the president were helping Dr. Gates then FauxNews would have screamed that Obama invited the cop only to make the cop look bad. Instead, the president was willing to be called a meany by not helping the professor and letting the police officer appear friendly.
