so, you think that if person is mentally challenged his life is of no importance?

I do, but in your case I'd be happy to make an exception.

Only if you believe that intelligence or awareness is the only measure of how bad it is to kill something.

If you believe that human life is sacrosanct, then you can also be pro-life and a meat eater and also be entirely morally consistent.

Which is the entire point of the cartoon.

It's funny because animal rights and human rights are two different things.

And yet they're still two different things.

Well sort of. One is pretty damned ingenious, whereas the other one just plain sucks. :)

No, they are exactly the same but in totally different ways.

All humans are animals
Plato was a human
Therefore all animals are Plato.

No, not that Plato, some other dude named Plato.

Love it. Both sides are hypocrites, when you think about it.

This is wrong on both sides. Being against abortion has nothing to do with eating meat unless the guy was, I don't know, for animal abortion, but even that would be a stretch.

And saying no to animal brutality would again have nothing to do with abortion, unless they were pro-abortion only so they could eat the fetuses.
