I THINK it's supposed to be polite, bored listening.

It's... listening to someone posing a question, then being so perplexed by the question that he's unable to even form an appropriate response, so giving up and listening for the speaker to go on further so that maybe something can be salvaged.

When I make that face it's my polite "you're a f**king retard" face...

I love this explanation, so much. I laughed at it even more than at the actual gif.

I like the one that goes CAN WE FIX IT? NO, IT'S F*CKED!!

Which is a pretty accurate appraisal of things at the moment, guffaw.

See, I like to combine it with that scene from the Warriors.

"CAN YOU DIG IT?!"

"YES WE CAN!"

Hah, when my family was in Japan, we were walking down some backroads in Kyoto, and these kids on bikes ride past us, grin up at me, and shout "YES WE CAN." Being the political nerd I am, I think this is hysterical, and run up to my brother to tell him. He just stares blankly at me and says "...I thought a lot of kids liked Bob the Builder?"

Its "yes we can". "si se puede". Yes, it can be done.

So, this gets even the basic premise wrong. Also, having to say the name of the character is less than good.

also why the semi-subtitle of "grandma's little prince"? I don't understand it's importance in the allegory, is it just to bring up the fact that he was raised by his grandmother? it feels superfluous and almost off topic, although it's hard to accuse it of being off-topic since I'm still not certain what topic the cartoon is trying to communicate...

I don't get it. Is it supposed to be insulting?

Is this from way back when the campaign started? because then mocking the slogan would make more sense.
