Glen-Sure, they went out and infected people in another country with swine flu to push through a nomination. And we should all wear our foil hats to prevent getting the swine flu.

Rush, you suck. While this isn't new, or surprising, it still deserves to be said.

Mr. President, fire Louis. And the others who decided to keep this quiet, thus causing a public panic for a photo op. They're idiots, and if they'll be idiots for this then there's no telling how stupid they'll be later.

The decision to keep New Yorkers in the dark about that unusual photo-op really was a blunder. 911 is still very fresh in many New Yorker's minds. What could this guy Louis have been thinking? Bad idea all the way around. :(

One would think that would be common sense, but then this is government service, and common sense is not a requisite of the job. I truly hope they find the person who decided to keep it quiet, and he loses his job, along with Louis, who at least did the right thing by taking overall responsibility for the blunder.

I can see why they kept it quiet, but the kind of mental gymnastics required to have it still be a valid reason hurts my brain.
