Nazi's and Hitler have become the ultimate scapegoat for aggression, oppression, tyranny, and some other bad words, which is ultimately unfair to the Wehrmacht and the objective study of history. Ah well.

You left out that it's also unfair to reasoned discourse.

When was the last time you heard anyone talk about it as a historical period instead of a rhetorical device? This isn't a rhetorical question; I really want to know.

I was discussing that one with my wife last week. We came to the conclusion that it would make more sense for the non-tax payers to go into the ovens, because the tax payers are the ones that are paying taxes.

Of course, once you tell the lie that complaining about "too many" taxes and "overtaxation" is really a selfish whine about not wanting to pay anything at all it's pretty much downhill in the mocking department, isn't it?

Kind of like asserting that gay marriage is really an attempt to legalize child marriages and polygamy.
