Keep right on thinking this is a "Republican" movement.

So these are different than the ones promoted by FreedomWorks, a conservative nonprofit advocacy group based in Washington and led by former Republican House Majority Leader Dick Armey? Not the same ones that "All you have to be is a mildly awake Republican candidate for office to get in front of that parade," said Grover Norquist, president of Americans for Tax Reform.? I mean, that isn't a group committed to pushing through the ideas of Ronald Reagan, is it? I guess this is about a different set of "tea parties" than the one Former House Speaker Newt Gingrich took the podium in front of New York's City Hall, or that Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal, sent an e-mail to his supporters, letting them know about tea parties throughout the state. South Carolina Gov. Mark Sanford attended two tea parties.

Despite the promotion and attendance by prominent Republicans and their mouthpieces, this can't possibly be a Republican movement.

By the way, the bits in italics are straight from the AP, here (http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20090416/ap_on_re_us/tax_day_protests), so they can't be right since it's not Rush or Hannity giving these little details. After all, it's not true unless FoxNews or EIB isn't the source, right? They must have lied.

How's that Kool-Aid taste over there?

You know he won't answer you now, don't you? Presenting a fuckwit with facts is like presenting a vampire with garlic bulbs and a crucifix.

Yeah, I know, it's his MO. Kinda like the rest of the Republican party of late. Give 'em facts, and they change the subject. Still, I find humor in baiting or shutting up the turd burglar.

I don't think the Tea Parties are Republican as much as they are grossly appropriated by the GOP in a desperate attempt to rally their base while also providing themselves with a platform to launch new attacks against our President.

Sadly, as with the last attempt to do this (see: McCain/Palin campaign), it only causes more chaos and divisiveness in the GOP, let alone makes even more youtube clips containing illogical poster slogans and embarrassing talking points to further shame the GOP.

But really, I'm just glad that the right now have their own version of 9/11 Truthers.

'Cuz I saw SO MANY Democrats and Democratic organizations participating in that ludicrous mockery. So VERY VERY many. Tons in fact. Nearly all of them. Yeah.

Meanwhile, the principal drivers of the whole clusterassfuck were Rush Limbaugh, the defacto leader of the Republican Party, and Fox News, the defacto propaganda wing of the Republican Party. But it's not a Republican movement, no, uh-uh, no way.

As long as they keep drinking the "special" Kool-Aid tea, of course no one would think that. Why aren't more of us drinking the SPECIAL tea? It's the patriotic thing to do...

Keep right on thinking its a movement. Antiwar folks literally got millions into the streets before the Iraq war, and it really didn't amount to much - did it?

What is so different about this latest crap? The numbers are microscopic in comparison, so I'm not holding my breath. Most people will fold when the hot water runs out.

The reason you don't see alot of democrats behind this movement is because democrats are wholly sycophants to their party. Notice there's no big tent in the democratic party. If you don't pass their abortion on demand and welfare queen limitus test, you don't get anywhere. That's why alot of moderate democrats reside solely in their state and you wouldn't know who the fuck they are unless you live there. Only the Nancy Pelosis and Hillary Clintons get a voice in the democratic party.

Albeit the republican party is the exact opposite which is just as bad. The republicans have no values. And simply take whoever they can get to expand their registered members. They got pro-death people like Rudy Gulliani, crazy old men like John McCain, fakeass Barbie dolls like Sara Palin, and libertarian rejects like Ron Paul. The GOP's "big tent" is more like an organized crime syndicate trying desperately to one up their competition. So this Tea Party is bennefical to them to garner new voters. Disenfranchised taxpayers, who were probably republican before, or atleast leaning republican, we'll now be loyal voters if they can manipulate their angst enough..

To put it simply. Democrats are like rich, arrogant, guys with monocoles. Who think they're "too big to fail" and don't have to listen to anyone. Then when we get pissed and start rioting, they think it's class warfar and treason and start jiggling their double chins and getting all red in the face. How dare the common man come out of his twelve hour workshift to oppose these mass abortions and federal spending?!

Republicans are more liked shady car salesman. Always trying to wheel-and-deal and make a customer out of you. Saying whatever they have to say to get you interested. Even though they don't plan on keeping any of their promises, and will lie right to your face. They'd sellout their own mother for a sale, and probably have.

No "fair and balanced" here. I give it to you straight from the shit I have to putup with everyday. Real life isn't unbias. But you know what? It'd sure be nice if there was a party who both respected the sanctity of life, and didn't just let poor people die in the street and opened up oppurutnities for us to get an education or atleast improve our livelyhood through liberal loaning companies and housing... My worry is that the libertarians are going to choke the republican bitch and come in as "a third option". Taking the worst of both parties. Great, that's all we need. A bunch of pretensious, babykilling, whores.. who are greedy, underhanded, social-darwinists...

The reason you don't see alot of democrats behind this movement is because democrats are wholly sycophants to their party.

Or because a good chunk of democrats are not unhappy with the way things are going and support the proposals that the President has made.

If you don't pass their abortion on demand and welfare queen limitus test, you don't get anywhere.

There should be a new rule where you can't complain about abortions while also complaining about welfare to support children.
