Christianity: The belief that life and all of the universe is a gift from an imaginary magic spirit who lives in space and is angry at all humans because a woman he made of spare ribs was talked into eating the fruit from a magic tree by a talking snake. This is the same magic spirit who later came down and impregnated a virgin so he could have a son who would be killed and turned into a zombie. This was so that people could eat the meat and drink the blood from his zombie body and be saved from the stigma of what that rib-woman did by eating the magic fruit that made the magic spirit mad in the first place. Only by eating this magic zombie flesh and blood, and telepathically pledging their lives to him, can the descendants of the spare-rib woman be forgiven and follow his son whom he sent to save them from himself.

The baby god who was born in a cave/manger is pretty common, as is the sacrifice/death/resurection of said god. That meme was around for ages before the christians swiped it.

but outside of the cathlic church is orgnal sin a thing? the fall the resulted from the eating of the fruit of the tree of knolage of good and evil (theres a mouth full) left us with the consqunces of respoblty, the possbilty to sin (also, the defacto, but not inherrent, necerty that we will sin, becous we're imperfect) witch negtes the last bit (the need to save people from god due to the fruit thing)

i am not a bibliical scholler (i just did rs at GCSE)

Most christians believe that without accepting jesus into your heart as your master there is no other way to get into heaven. This is the ONLY way, as man is flawed by original sin. It's not just the cath-o-licks who believe this (and they barely qualify as christian anyhow).

realy? i didnt think orginal sin was widly accpted outside the cathlics. gose to show what i know. i always thought that it was more or less imposble not to sin, but that eve merly made you responble, not already carrying a debt. thanks for clearing that up for me :)
