Yes, but under the new plan, several deductions also start getting phased out at $250K so there will be additional increase in your taxable base. It's like a waterfall.

How many of those making over $250,000 are small business owners? And just how will the tax hikes impact them? It's my understanding that they get taxed differently than just regular salaried employees.
