It's amusing that all the people shambling forward with signs, etc. are moving toward unemployment.

it's utterly expected that you would find people being out of work amusing.

I wonder how happy they'll be when the waves of inflation begin to hit our shores.

I'm officially bored

I don't know what it is, but the stimulus package and the bank bailout topics are just boring to me now. The cartoons all seem to be making the same point and none are making me laugh, angry, or see things from a different perspective (really the only goals a political cartoon should have).

Maybe it's that the whole thing is just too depressing. Maybe it's that our economy and financial system are so fucked that it's just not funny. Maybe it's the realization that the hope for a post-partisan government has given way to the realization that our politicians are interested in political positioning first and helping America second (well, maybe third after campaign donations).

So, if you see anything interesting on any other topic, please post it. Oh, and if you do, please wake me up. I'll be asleep on my keyboard (or is it "key-bored?")

I'd put corruption and nepotism before helping as well.

Maybe closer to "This is a great opportunity to prove our ideas our right," on both sides of the isle. Tax cuts/trickle down on one side, spend until it hurts on the other. I'm not sure that either side has the solution, but both are more than happy to try to prove that they do.
