Guardian cartoonist Steve Bell on his depiction of Bush over the past eight years.

It's an interesting--albeit brief--insight into the inner workings of one of the cartoonists that has probably been featured in this community on more than one occasion.  At the end of the video you can browse through a collection of his Bush cartoons.  I found the evolution of Bush's persona from a harmless little monkey to a dangerous chimp pretty interesting.  A fair sendoff, I think.

Beware, there might be some NSFW language and imagery--just in case you browse LJ at church or something.

Eh, don't apologize for not embedding. It usually works better that way anyway.

Not a bad commentary. Too bad I find Bell's cartoons generally pointless (the drawing rarely has anything to do with the actual subject). Oh well, now that the Cheney-Bush administration is ending, perhaps he'll be able to draw with a point in mind.

I had something poncy to say about artistic hinterland, but sod it: Steve Bell is pretty damn good, actually.
