Saudi Arabia executed people for being Christian?

They have public executions (beheadings) for rapists and murderers, and cut the hands off thieves, but how often do they execute folks for being Xtian? that must have posed a problem when the US had bases there...

There Jewish communities in Saudi Arabia. My understanding is that Jews and Christians, as "people of the book," (people the Koran singles out as being recipients of previous authentic holy revelations) are basically considered their own sort of segregated peoples. And like you said, yeah, folks get executed their for "breaking the rules," but not for being a Christian or Jew. The Koran, for example, says a Muslim man may marry a Christian woman. It doesn't say she should be executed for being Xtian.

If there are extra-judicial killings based on religion -- like yahoos kiling folks of their own accord -- well, Saudi Arabia isn't unique. That happens all over the world, even the US.
