Cartoon: Clever idea. Amateur execution is forgivable. Not sure how I feel about Jesus saying "Dumb ass."
Palin's irrelevance: If the polls are correct, I am really looking forward to Sarah Palin's name, face, and voice becoming as ubiquitous as Lloyd Bentsen's did after he failed to become VP.
I'm hoping she's out of politics after tonight, but I have a feeling she's still going to be around. We're a celebrity obsessed culture and that seems to be her thing. She'll have a book out for sure, and I wouldn't be surprised if she got her own daytime talk show. In a few years Bristol will probably have an album out, or the entire family will have a "Pallin' Around With The Palins" Alaska-themed reality show.
It'll be annoying, but I'm okay with it as long as she stays far, far away from the White House.

Which polls are those? The ones I had seen right before the election showed Palin as having a higher approval rating in the GOP than McCain.

"Who's Lloyd Bentsen," you ask? .... Exactly.
