A Montreal comedian spoke to U.S. Republican vice-presidential candidate Sarah Palin on Saturday by impersonating French President Nicolas Sarkozy.

It reflects more poorly on her.. campaign staff. How the hell did the phone call get through? I actually feel kind of bad for her. All the names stated were (intentionally) impossible to understand with the thick accent as well.

(Would it have been more damaging were it really Sarkozy and she vilified him as a prankster?)

She sounds like an excited little girl though.

Listen to the end, when she is saying, "What radio station is this?" she sounds like she is about to cry. =( I don't like Palin, but that seriously made me feel bad for her.

Also, I bet the person responsible for screening the calls was fired and HER day was ruined.

All this for a prank that wasn't even funny. When you prank an easy target like Palin, use the opportunity to make something memorable.

But this shows how unprepared she is for the role. Not the contents of what she said, but the way she handled herself, from her giggly start, and the complete naivety in her communication.

What do you expect her to say? "FUCK THOSE CANADIANS!!". She'll say she was mildly amused whether she was or wasn't.

Those are al the right PR moves for someone in her position. As for complete and total douchebags having senses of humor, yeah, they can have those, too, in addition to holding completely ass backwards views of the world, a la Palin.

She should be able to understand the accent. Can't she see Canada from her house?

for me, I think it's odd that her phone number is so accessible. Same as her email account. She should have looked at her security as soon as she was selected as VP.
