They're one of the few that I'm aware of. Most have stopped using it in favor of man-made fining agents. (I worked in a brewery for a decade and was kept abreast of all the trends of the trade.) Stouts made in Ireland and the U.K. use it, and that's about it as far as major brands.
Ah, major brands. I should have worded that better to not make it sound like I had any kind of expertise on the issue; the only reason I know about it in the first place is from a friend who likes craft beers, whose wife is vegan, so therefore he's more aware of isinglass use.
Right on. I, too, am hyper-sensitive of isinglass use. Obviously on the craft end, you just need to know your brewery and ask them. Micro-breweries tend to be run by pretty nice people that are super good about being upfront about their ingredients.
