They are exaggerating what the studies and questions actually asked, and what they actually said about the responses to try to paint anything apart from "vanilla" "legitimate" "i am a stranger and forcing myself on you in a dark alley" rape as not being "real" rape.
These are the people who, twenty years ago, would have framed the skit as: "I am your husband, you must have sex with me whenever I want." "Heheheh OK!" "OH NO THAT'S RAPE! If a wife doesn't want to have sex with her husband, and he forces her, that's MARITAL RAPE!" And then they would have chortled and acted like it was such an outlandish concept.
I swear to god I want to punch something right now.
