And even then once we get around to metals being a worthwhile currency again, people aren't going to want to keep all that heavy gold and silver around the house. So we'll pay other people to keep most of our money in one secure, insured place. And eventually we'll get tired of carry around even that small amount we keep with us, and the businesses we pay to keep our metals will write us little notes that they assure will be worth X ounces of metal. And then we'll need more notes than we have metals, and we'll just get rid of the metals entirely.
