I don't know if I'd call Christie a "moderate". He was one of the US Attorneys who didn't run afoul of Karl Rove and get fired (he launched several politically motivated investigations against Dems including one against Bob Menendez right before the election that mysteriously disappeared after said election). He also opposes Choice, would allow insurance companies to cut coverage for mammograms, would refuse stimulus money and would most likely opt out of the public option if given such an opportunity. He's no Governator.
I do get your point though. Deeds lost because he's a moron and ran from the Democratic Party, Corzine lost because of constant media attacks against him due to the NJ media's love affair with Christie. Neither can be blamed on Obama in the least.
