Good evening, readers and users

I need to conduct a survey: for scientific work (national political issue). I'd be glad of your help!
- Does anybody know about kurds? If yes, what exactly do you know or heard? and where?
- Maybe do you have any friends - kurds?
- Are you aware about difficult situation on the east by the (Unlawfull activity of Islamic group and etc).
- Do you know what attutide Kurds have in this situation?

I am at work now and don't have much time, but really, I don't know anything other than what western american media has told me. From what I can tell they are between Iraq and a hard place. (Sorry, american colloquial joke.)

What the survey about? Doesn't make sense to a survey in place like this, at least to me.
I met a few Kurds, as well as yezidis.

Yes, you could. My favorite teacher was Kurdish, my boss is Kurdish-great guy. Everybody I met, were very nice and successful people. But I can speak only about people I know.
I sympathize with them, as far as political situation is concerned. However, they never had a statehood and I'm not sure if it's good idea to allow the creation of Kurdish state, especially in that part of the world where 10 nations have claim for every inch of the land.
