Charging me any interest at all is against my religious beliefs (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Usury#Religious_context).

If only you were a corporation. All people are created equal, but some people are more equal than others.

I was doing a little reading on a plant called Stevia. Its essentially used as a sweetener alternative used in Pepsi Next and a new version of Coke. Why is that interesting?

When Stevia was gaining popularity, it was essentially banned by the FDA, and whatever EU agencies. Most people believed at the time that it was banned due to pressure from corporate interests, and freedom of information act releases have had the plaintiff names redacted.

However both Coke and Pepsi now get to use their own copyrighted extract version, even though the plant itself is still labeled as dangerous. Because you know, corporations.

When I read the history of Stevia, I laughed. It's completely in line with the entire history of politics, corporations and the FDA.

Tomorrow will be one year of being cigarette free and the FDA (because of money and politics) is playing games with the method that finally helped me quit after 36 years of smoking.

I truly hate them.

There is so many variations of this, it is no longer amusing or surprising.

It only counts if it saves money for the rich.

If only that would work.

Well, would you vote for the grumpy guy that wants to keep people poor with his hand-outs?

You have to incorporate into a closely-held business, though

Not only was a seven year Jubilee required, many of the lenders were stoned to death if they refused to participate!
