Because my joke wasn't that she's a hooker. I was mocking the narrow minded representation of such interactions. "Maybe she's a hooker, what do I know?" "Maybe she's in a bad neighborhood, what do I know?" "Maybe she had a bad experience that still haunts her, what do I know?" "Maybe he didn't make his intent clear enough, what do I know?" So on, and so forth.
