I agree…though, in the run-up to the finale, I did hope the Harry Potter joke would have had the punchline "Atlas Shrugged" instead. Always makes me reach for the ejector-seat button.
You may be a little quick on the trigger there. You should first see if she has some real libertarianism in her. I actually loved the novel itself as a sort of wild epic romance (better than vampire novels), and she might be delightfully kinky, just as Ayn Rand and her alter ego is.
To perfectly honest, I can amuse myself well enough in books, and being rather deprived, I could fancy a simple beauty, with perhaps a bounteous chest. I don't really need to talk Shakespeare with somebody. ;)
Being attracted to someone you are planning on spending your life with is a definite bonus, but when you are 75 and the bounteous chest is hanging around her belly button, it'll be nice to have someone to talk to.
