Rape culture.

Cindy Sheehan saw some disturbing signage posted upon a military base fence in 29 Palms Marine base in California. It was from a vessel recently returned from deployment in the middle east. She took it down and after riding on her bicycle (Tour de Peace) across our country, she delivered it as a present to the White House.

The men who posted this banner did so in full awareness that RAPE was part of the message of their sign.

I actually wouldn't be so sure about that, especially given that the song is only an appropriation of a statement that described an attempted crime. It's many steps removed.

The fact that our soldiers downplay civilian rape is clear evidence of rape culture.

Citation needed.

There is nothing more to be added.

Because there's nothing more to add. It's hard to defend handwaving.
