and stupid ones.

Didn't he share it with everyone through the global media (including "terrorists"), not just the American people? For the record, I'm on Snowden's side for the most part, but this isn't a particularly powerful message from Paul.

Well, we are pretty sure that he was debriefed by Chinese Intelligence (and Russian Intelligence) and its fairly reasonable to believe, given that China has had access to him that they have the entire contents of the information he took with him. He also discussed supposed evidence of classified intelligence operations with the Hong Kong news paper for which he gave a number of exclusive interviews (including the one in which he explained that he joined Booz Allen with the intention of obtaining classified information)

Which is to say that we're pretty sure that he committed espionage by delivering classified information to foreign nations.

If I revealed classified information to the British, it'd still be espionage. Last I checked, the United Kingdom's a pretty tight ally of the United States.

Pretty sure he gave info to China and Russia, as well.

I was addressing Ron Paul's definition of espionage with no regard either way to the charges against Snowden.

Paul was part of said government for 23 years.

"I think the government is so evil that I want to be the executive in charge of it." That's all I ever hear when people talk about that chucklehead.

Obey the Computer. Love the Computer. The Computer is your friend.

You know...if the government doesn't see me as the enemy , I sure wish it would stop acting like I am.

The Pauls are the two most infuriatingly stupid people in the US government.

The real reason Snowden is a hero doesn't fit very well in a soundbite.

The main reason we didn't nuke the planet during the Cold War is because we had spies on both sides keeping the playing field level. The US has been getting way out ahead lately, and the world needs guys like Snowden to balance things out. The alternative is WWIII, USA vs. everybody.
