On the flip side, social media (including this very group) has made me more educated about political and social issues than ever before; and has motivated me to become active in campaigns.

I hope you do more then just get your information from social media.

Oh yes, I read the news online and watch it on TV as well. But somehow social media makes current events more interesting than just watching TV.

EDIT: Just read your comment again and I think I misunderstood it. Yes, I do "do" more than just get my information from social media. I knocked on doors canvassing for Elizabeth Warren this past fall.
