When atheists are allowed to put up billboards it cheapens billboards for the rest of us.

I actually stared at this comment in horror for a second. Derp. I clearly need caffeine. :|

1st one, check.

2nd one, no idea what's going on there.

The billboard's actually in my city, it's popped up like crazy in the form of bumper stickers, too.

Are they going to get it on in all the ways?

[identity profile] bdoing.livejournal.com 2011-09-06 01:38 pm (UTC)(link)
Banging ALL the ways!

The second is either surprisingly clever and insightful, or it's meaningless drivel.

I am not sure I can decide which.

As to the first, yay CFI.

Those athiest... I don't see why they have to flaunt their beliefs!
And
War on Christianity!

[identity profile] sable-twilight.livejournal.com 2011-09-06 11:09 pm (UTC)(link)
yes, that is the reality... however, there are many thiests out there who attempt to label athietism as some sort of belief system.

They should erect them on the I-95 between Florida and Georgia to compete with all those Christian anti-abortion signs.

It'll be an all out billboard war!

First one: I went on the website to be sure, but they lobby for leftist political causes. It's difficult to find an anti-religious cause that doesn't. For that matter, I always am careful about who I give money to, especially if their cause is ambiguous. During CFC at work, a charity visited us that claimed to 'help people in the community'. Upon further research, the charity was a front for leftist causes, like gay groups, womens groups, anti-religious groups, etc that supported leftist causes.

Second one: I thought those people were dog lovers, except that those might be unicorns upon closer look.

You misunderstood me. I meant to say that when CFC is going on, individual charities will visit us. Two visited last year. One of the charities provided hearing aids to poor kids. That was legit. The other was some kind of community organizing charity that gave money to various leftist groups, abortion groups and victimhood ideology minority groups.

Now why do you think that is?
