Sarah Palin documentary

One reviewer commented:

"This Sarah Palin hosanna is done in by the simple fact that its director needs to go back to film school." Robert Levin of the Atlantic.

Triumph of the Will got 94%

You can't get more right-winged...

Despite it's content it actually has some very artfully well-done shots in it.

Just was trying to find some infamously well-made propaganda films to see if there was any bias. I've also listed Birth of a Nation, which got %100. It glamorizes the KKK, it also kicked off the film industry.

Birth of a Nation got 100% (you're not supposed to be able to bust on DW Griffith, no matter how cartoonish the characters (yes, I have watched it), Primary Colors got 80%, Hillary the Movie was not rated/reviewed...

Neither was The Eternal Jew, it's only review is the closest I've come to a biased one.

Pretty justified though, the implications of the film is pretty hard to look past.

Never heard of that. Oddly, Inglorious Basterds was kinda about Nazi propaganda films.

given it helped foster a hatred of Jews that ultimately led to the "final solution" it's pretty damn depressing in hindsight.

It's public domain so it's on YouTube, if you want to make yourself depressed that is.

imdb says 1940. They were scratching a 7 year itch by then.

Yeah, I'll pass.

I'd suggest Metropolis instead, it's German, an incredible film for it's time, and not racist or Nazi-related.

And it's sci-fi to boot

I loved the 1980's pop reboot of that. And now I hear there's new footage found in Argentina (there's a geeky Chemistry joke there for the taking). I'm looking forward to the full length release.

Oh and Triumph of the Will was the one propaganda film that comes to mind when I think of movies made to be about politicians by politicians. The film was made by the Nazis to glorify Nazis, Hitler IS the Nazi party. Michael Moore movies are never about Michael Moore.
