you can excuse him for as long as you like. It's been a scant nine months since he was sent packing. He continues to bear a great deal of responsibility for the state this country is in. There's no way to deny it.

The guy holding the Katrina sign kind of looks like Bush! I always assumed he had deep-seated self-hate issues.

[identity profile] dwer.livejournal.com 2009-10-08 01:39 am (UTC)(link)
the arguments that need to be thrown back to him are thrown back to him.

[identity profile] telemann.livejournal.com 2009-10-08 02:13 am (UTC)(link)
It's funny because the word "Bush" is used, sorda like in your sock puppet but there it's a different kind of "Bush."

[identity profile] dr-pepper-spray.livejournal.com 2009-10-08 02:16 am (UTC)(link)
Okay, bull runs through China shop destroying an untold amount of plates, cups you name it. Right behind him is a guy trying to clean up the mess. So do I go "what the fuck guy?" or do I rightfully go hunting for a crazed bull.

That analogy didn't work out the way I had intended, but you get the idea.

Lets remember that although Obama has been blamed for things that happened even before he was elected, much less sworn into office that Bush held no responsibility for 9/11 or even the recession of 2001 and the largely jobless recovery afterwards. That is completely fair, right?
: )
lol

[identity profile] roseofjuly.livejournal.com 2009-10-08 03:06 am (UTC)(link)
Resent dialogue? Like the dialogue of resentment? Clever.

[identity profile] roseofjuly.livejournal.com 2009-10-08 03:07 am (UTC)(link)
If you're not saying he wasn't a fuck-up than why do you take issue with people blaming him for things that were partially his fault?

[identity profile] american-geist.livejournal.com 2009-10-08 03:09 am (UTC)(link)
Bush made this cartoon!

[identity profile] pacotelic.livejournal.com 2009-10-08 03:10 am (UTC)(link)
As a straight man, I, for an embarrassingly long time, could not get enough Bush.

/no really, I couldn't get enough.

[identity profile] lafinjack.livejournal.com 2009-10-08 03:11 am (UTC)(link)
Is this like blaming everything on Obama?

[identity profile] http://users.livejournal.com/gaburieru_/ 2009-10-08 03:37 am (UTC)(link)
thanks, man. i haven't had any bush in months.

I blame everything on Curtis LeMay

[identity profile] xxrancid-punkxx.livejournal.com 2009-10-08 04:34 am (UTC)(link)
What's supposed to be funny here? Seems accurate to me.

*George Bush started the BS war, is he totally innocent for her son getting killed?

*George Bush didn't read his damn memos before 9/11, GWB spent his first summer on vacation. Maybe if he had put some effort into his job...

*Maybe if we didn't waste our fucking money on blowing up and rebuilding goddamn Iraq we could have put some of that money into our own country and infrastructure projects(like levees).

*Maybe "little Johnny" would know how to spell and do his homework if we had teachers actually teaching, not "teaching the test" so they don't lose their funding under "No Child Left Behind". Letting a fucking moron handle education policy. Hey, let's have a crackhead revise the drug laws too!!

[identity profile] 7eventeen.livejournal.com 2009-10-08 05:01 am (UTC)(link)
"Hey, let's have a crackhead revise the drug laws too!!"
At the very least, it'd be a change from the right-wing Moral Majority writing them in the first place.

[identity profile] yes-justice.livejournal.com 2009-10-08 06:12 am (UTC)(link)
No fucking shit. Talk about having it both ways. When the commander and chief sends soldiers into battle for lies and profit, he fucking is responsible. He'll sure as shit take the praise when things go well. But will he take the blame if not? Nope. Morals my ass.

[identity profile] laviemoderne.livejournal.com 2009-10-08 07:04 am (UTC)(link)
Bush stole my fuckin' lunch money.

[identity profile] cursethedark.livejournal.com 2009-10-08 08:24 am (UTC)(link)
Bush makes people post shitty political cartoons.

[identity profile] mylaptopisevil.livejournal.com 2009-10-08 12:00 pm (UTC)(link)
Bush turned the right into idiots that post these cartoons.

[identity profile] pacotelic.livejournal.com 2009-10-08 12:29 pm (UTC)(link)
At you, Yoda mis-quote, will I.

[identity profile] i.livejournal.com 2009-10-08 01:02 pm (UTC)(link)
it's possible that 9-11 could have been stopped had the Bush administration not ignored specific warnings about Bin Laden from the Clinton White House.

[identity profile] i.livejournal.com 2009-10-08 01:04 pm (UTC)(link)
and if we hadbn't sent the national guard to iraq, they could have gone to new orleans.

[identity profile] lafinjack.livejournal.com 2009-10-08 10:20 pm (UTC)(link)
Well that goes without saying.

[identity profile] capthek.livejournal.com 2009-10-14 06:31 pm (UTC)(link)
technically, Obama has already kept us safe longer than Bush did, right?

[identity profile] i.livejournal.com 2009-10-14 07:22 pm (UTC)(link)
and ignored less warnings from the previous administration, and started less wars, and alienated less of the world.
