Whether or not we are making more doesnt change the fact that the lack of a deterrent is the single largest strategic disadvantage a nation can have.

It also ignores the fact that the new ones we are looking to build are designed to be used in an offensive capacity. Which, unless your enemy does not have nukes, is a terribly stupid thing to do.

I.E. not only does it make sense for them to develop nukes, we are taking actions that will make it even more imperative that they develop nukes.
