Let me educate you. There are secular countries populated with majority muslims, Turkey e.g., and countries that are based on Islamic laws, like Islamic republic of Iran. It is also true, that even secular countries are heavily influenced by the religious worldview of the majority of population, like US by Judea-Christian values. This makes the representative of any other religion incompatible to govern the country. Let me emphasize that we are talking about people who really are religious.
