I wish that were an exaggeration. Did you see the episode of Frontline about the NRA and its response to the public shootings in the last few years? It is completely fucking heartbreaking, especially after the Sandy Hook shooting. It hit me like it happened all over again and the reaction by the NRA president or whatever he is-- MOAR guns. SO callous and disrespectful. D:

We can't *do* anything to stop the next one and the next one, they hold WAY too much power over Congress. :(

...only, this was in China. And he didn't have a gun, so he went on a knife rampage...
..which means that today, there are 20 families that can hug their young ones.

..and people *STILL* say "If they can't get a gun, they'll use some other weapon!"

YES! FOR FUCKS SAKE YES! I WANT THEM TO HAVE OTHER, LESS EFFICIANT WEAPONS THAT CAN'T KILL MULTIPLE PEOPLE AT A DISTANCE! AGH!

I did not hear about that. It is deeply troubling.

But nope, we can't talk about the gun debate now, it is too soon. :/
