It's a bit of a contrived phrase, but 9/11 liberal means being Liberal on nearly all things, save for their pro-war stance concerning the issue of Islamist terrorism. Bill Maher, Sam Harris, Ayaan Hirsi Ali, Salman Rushdie, Christopher Hitchens are examples, opposed to 9/11 conservatives such as Ron Silver, Dennis Miller, Rudy Giuliani etc etc etc
