This article is lame attempt to make things look better.
1. Terrorist are people who try to convey their political message through terror, they could be in some occasions representatives of a government.
2. He was, in best case scenario, a hostage, because he was a deserter, wasn't captured in a battle.
3. Since when an Israeli government is an example for US. Nothing against Israel, but who cares what they do?
