That's a good way to ruin a suit jacket. He could have at least put a damp washcloth or something over the area before ironing. I mean, best to actually send it out to be done professionally, but if he's in a rush (and apparently so much of a rush that he needs to touch it up while wearing it,) at least don't ruin the jacket.
