So companies don't have the money to support paying someone flipping burgers $9/hr, which is why they can't allow a higher minimum wage, but they also don't have the incentive to pay someone more than the current minimum wage, because it exists at all?

Are corporations like horses with those blinders on or something? It's amazing that they're incapable of doing anything as long as any form of government rules exist.
