Not everyone. There are an awful lot of people that buy into it completely. I have a very conservative neighbor who is on Social Security/Medicare and is retired on a very nice pension that he got while working a rather comfy job under a union for the railroad.

He bitches endlessly about all of the above without a hint of sarcasm or irony.
