As a person familiar with the dynamics of political systems I dislike that you vote third party, even in a swing state because such actions affect the median voter and the median voter effects who the political candidates are
The pragmatic advise is vote for whichever of the two major parties best represents your interests.

The Republicans don't even bother running candidates for a lot of races in Pima County, AZ. I can vote for the Green to make a statement, or I can vote for the Dem who's probably going to win anyway...
