I am sure someone had the equivalent of this comic in 1975 where they curse young men for wearing those impractical bell bottoms and all that flowing hair..

I gave Buddy to Cocker Spaniel rescue when I was in the process of moving to Central America, because it wasn't practical or fair to take him on a two year road trip across borders. In the end, I didn't go, but one of the requirements of rescue groups is that you give up all rights to your pet, so I have never been able to see him again. I know he found a good home immediately with the mother of the person running the rescue, but that's all. If he is still alive, he is very old for a Cocker. I think about him all the time. He was a wonderful creature. My wife had a dog when we got married, who died at age 17 a year ago, and we just adopted a heeler-australian shepherd mix.

Is that your Buddy in your icon? He is so cute. I'm sorry you had to give him up :( The worst thing about dogs is how short they are able to be with us. And considering we have to clean up their poop that's saying something!

he was a wonderful dog. i was driving all over arizona for my job, so he peed on trees and chased rabbits in every corner of the state and thoroughly hiked all the mountains around tucson. we had a good time together.

Damn kids and their hippity-hop and their baggity pants. I mean, the music has been around for over three decades and the fashion trend for about two, but still. Kids these days, amirite?

They've gotten lower, actually, among the teens I work with. As in so low their belts are below the curve of their ass low.

And it still looks dumb.
