its hard for record componeys to harp about the evils of piracy and not paying for music when contracts are writen so awful for artitsts. not only that, they try to take payments for all artists, even those not inside there system. and the rank hyprcoisy (http://yro.slashdot.org/story/11/01/11/0615258/record-labels-to-pay-for-copyright-infringement) of them when they also do it is startling.

there leagualy right (when there not involved in the story i linked too or the like, or installing root kits on to peoples pcs who PAYED for CDs (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sony_BMG_copy_protection_rootkit_scandal)), but they long ago lost the propandga war by being colloasal dicks.

Exactly. I only pay for music when I can put cash directly in the hand of the artist.
