Because a test designed to make all the candidates seem closer together than they really are and you not close to any of them (except Ron Paul) told you so?

And/or insert whatever idea they want to push. It reads the same as all those tests from before which were designed to push people to "libertarian" positions. (in fact it looks pretty much identical to those tests) and they don't have any scholarly backing for it so...

Actually, no, political compass is a pretty solid and scientific determination of how one plots across two political axes.
What you describe absolutely exists, though. But this isn't it.

No, no its not. Its not quite as bad as the Nolan test but it still has the same bias's and still is just as useless as a political spectrum tool.

Especially when they get to place where they think the Candidates are

Since i can't edit:

I mean, you can provide some "scientific determination" for the test right? With some studies showing how accurate it is?

Cause i went to the website and they said "pshaw we can't collect data and test our model, that would not be right!"

Reposted so i know you see it:

This is what a fascist racist fundamentalist christian astrologer that hates education and loves corporations above all else and beats kids looks like.

How did I produce this? Well i did the test again except this time i answered strongly the opposite of all the questions i thought had obviously stupid answers.

To be fair, it was a bit further to the right than I thought i was going to end up. But that was mainly because i found it hard to differentiate the questions i should be ludicrous on and the questions that I should be reasonable on, especially with regards to the economic questions, which carry more weight (so i landed up further right)

That is to say that the suggested values for every single political candidate up there except Ron Paul require them to be hilariously Authoritarian so much so that all of them basically have to be Fascist Racist Fundamentalist Christian Astrologers who have no nuance of position about anything asked about in the quiz.

In fact, if you press "agree" or "disagree" and not strongly for every question that moves you to the right and up you still will not be as far to the top right corner as Barak Obama is listed.

The test is a sham.
